"Schaukäserei Wilder Kaiser“ – 20 km away
Cheese lovers are in the right place here! Every day, 1,200 liters of fresh hay milk are processed into the finest cheese specialties in the show dairy “Wilder Kaiser” in Kirchdorf, a small idyllic village near St. Johann. Informative video films provide an insight into the time-consuming work involved in preparing cheese. Of course, the different types of cheese can be tasted and purchased.
Triassic Park in Waidring – 34 km away
On the way back to prehistoric times, "Triassic Park" researches, digs, amazes and in a playful way brings the time closer to 250 million years ago. Just 70 meters above the abyss, a walk-on viewing platform amazes everyone with a head for heights and opens up breathtaking views. The path to the Pillerseetal is definitely worth it, even if it takes a little longer to get there.
